Behind blue eyes // Tell me how close we are to a riot

We started to meet up almost by accident, quite a few guys and three girls on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and some evenings during the week. We would get together on Iturribide Street and would make our way up to Fika. We spent our evenings in bars, watching music videos of bands like Rammstein or Kortatu and drinking in the street, even if was raining.

Over time, we got to know lots of people: Manero, who was always singing Elvis Presley; the Ruedas girls; Fiker’s group of friends; members of bands who played at gaztetxes… which was also where a good few of my friends made their debut. They would go on to form the band Kagadero, which was wildly successful in the only two concerts it gave.
